How the NPHC Blog Challenge Will Work

WHAT: A global blogging challenge for students between the ages of 6 and 12 and their teachers. We will be reading and blogging about The Not Perfect Hat Club, a book about the importance of finding and celebrating each child’s unique abilities.

NOTE: We are eager to explore including older students in the challenge as well.  If you’d like to discuss, please contact Jena directly: JenaBall@CritterKin.com

WHEN: The #NPHCBlogIt Challenge will run for five weeks (with one week off for Thanksgiving break) beginning in November 2 and ending December 4th.

HOW: Each week, students will read three to four chapters of The Not Perfect Hat Club book.  The #NPHCBlogIt team will have posted questions based on those chapters to encourage discussion and writing activities. Students will blog and/or Vlog, comment on one another’s posts, and post questions to the #NPHCBlogIt sites as well.

We will also be doing a limited number of Twitter and Skype visits (dates to be determined) that you and your students are welcome to attend. The more the merrier!

Sign Up and Participation:  More details will be coming soon, so be sure to sign up here:  http://goo.gl/forms/kVJKri5Z7m) posted.

Just prior to the start of the challenge, we will send you a #NPHCBlogIt badge that your students can print and wear proudly!

Questions, Ideas and Feedback: The #NPHCBlog It Challenge is a work in progress, so please feel free to email us with any thoughts or questions.
